Episode 103: Lifeboat
An analysis and humorous take on Hitchcock's Lifeboat which has his most creative and funniest cameo. The movie was shot on two sets composed of a lifeboat in dry dock for interior shots and an identical lifeboat floating in a large tank for exterior shots. Lifeboat follows the survivors of a U-boat attack as they attempt to get back to Allied waters. Tallulah Bankhead starts as the sole occupant dressed to the nines and documenting her surroundings for a newspaper story.
